I am a 62-year-old revert of 25 years who wears khimar and Jilbab. Prays on time, fasts Mondays and Thursdays, white days (13, 14 ,15), Ramadan, etc. Reads Quran daily. How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Its not extremely important because when two people are attracted to each other it could be because of their personalities, commonalities, Islamic knowledge, how they treat each other, how they make each other feel.
What is the purpose of marriage?
The purpose of marriage, in my opinion, is it is extremely important. It is half of our Deen. It's nice to have someone to pray with, eat with, remind each other about salat and our islamic behavior, assist each other with being mindful of Allah, working as a team to get to Jannah.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
To be patient, humble, and always be grateful to Allah no matter what happens in your life say Alhamdulillah!!!.
